Answer

The SCIEX CloudConnect Micro-App can be used to transfer files between Illumina BaseSpace and a computer running the PeakView® software, version 2.2 or higher. The CloudConnect Micro-App is used to upload SWATH® acquisition data files (TOF-MS SWATH .wiff files) along with an ion library consisting of transitions of select proteins and peptides as well as optional retention time calibration peptides to facilitate use of the SCIEX SWATH® Proteomics Cloud Tool Kit for the processing of SWATH acquisition data. This same CloudConnect license also provides access to ProteinPilot™ software features including sequence searching in the SCIEX Cloud workspace.

To log into the SCIEX Cloud workspace:

1) Activate and install the CloudConnect license within PeakView 2.2 software. Once CloudConnect is activated in PeakView software, navigate to the CloudConnect menu and select Open Cloud SciexOS. The SCIEX Cloud workspace sign in dialog will appear in your browser (https://multiomics.beta.sciex.com/sessions/sign_in).  Please register if you are a new user by defining your user ID and password.
2) After registering and signing in, the following page will appear:

3) In the upper right-hand corner, select the cog icon, and then under your username select Connect Services. On the next page please activate both the SCIEX Cloud Storage and the Illumina BaseSpace services and select Done.
4) After both services are active, the features in the ProteinPilot module will be accessible from the SCIEX Cloud workspace.
